Centre for Cultural Studies of Nusantara (CCSN)

The Center for Cultural Studies of the Archipelago is a study center that accommodates the interests and expertise of lecturers to develop topics related to Indonesian culture in various Tridharma activities. Currently, there are many ideas and works of the UK FSRD academic community. Maranatha who discussed the topic of Nusantara culture. This study center is arguably the ‘second child’ besides CCDS who was born from the holding of the UK FSRD Cultural Studies Forum. Maranatha. The Center for Cultural Studies of the Archipelago also carries the vision and mission of FSRD UK. Maranatha who has a global perspective while remaining grounded in the nation’s cultural wealth. This study center is open to the general public, both from within and outside the country.

Currently the Center for Cultural Studies of the Archipelago is chaired by Dr. Dra. Arisa Pandanwangi, M.Sn. (Fine Arts Lecturer at FSRD UK. Maranatha) who has studied the Cold Wax Batik and the Archipelago Art Language. The Center for Cultural Studies of the Archipelago was inaugurated on the XVII FSRD UK Anniversary. Maranatha which was held on March 11, 2022. With the supervisor Prof. Dr. Setiawan Sabana, M.F.A. who has been known as an outstanding senior artist who focuses on creating with the medium of paper, the Center for Nusantara Cultural Studies is expected to take part in developing the world of art, design, and architecture in Indonesia.
