Maranatha Art & Design Center (MADC)
Maranatha Art and Design Center (MADC) was originally opened as an educational institution on August 14, 2002 in Grha Maranatha at Jalan Cihampelas No. 169 Bandung and is under the auspices of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Kristen Maranatha. MADC is the forerunner of the current FSRD
Currently, MADC is back as an educational institution that organizes short-term and regular courses and workshops, both certified and not. The courses and workshops held are not only limited to visual arts and design, but also in other supporting fields, such as music and other creative industries. Students and the general public who want to increase their skills and develop hobbies without being bound to become full-time students can take part in the programs organized by MADC. The teaching staff are lecturers who are experienced in their fields. Everyone can attend trainings from elementary, junior high, high school children, workers or even housewives who want to increase their knowledge of skills. Training can be in the form of suggestions from the community, which are of interest to the community or new things that are currently needed by the community. Training can be held at Maranatha Christian University, in a company or at a group gathering place upon request. MADC can also invite guest lecturers with special skills.
