In order to support Indonesia as the top halal producer of the world, as well as boosting the growth of the national economy through the development of Muslim fashion for both the local and global market, Indonesian Ministry of Commerce collaborates with Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to organize the Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2023 on 20–22 October 202 at ICE-BSD Tangerang. Then, to disseminate information regarding the JMFW 2023, Road to JMFW events will be held in multiple cities across Indonesia in the form of seminars or fashion shows, doubling as curation for brands to step forward in the main event.
Road to JMFW in West Java will be held simultaneously with events leading to the grand opening of Nimo Highland at Pangalengan, Bandung. Nimo Highland collaborates with the Islamic Fashion Institute, Textile Association of Indonesia, and Wardah to present ACCOULTOURISHION–Acculturation of Tourism and Fashion on 29 June, 2022.
Bandung, lauded as Paris van Java, is home to tourism and fashion. This event combines awe-inspiring natural tourism and creativity in fashion pieces with hopes of attracting more visitors to Bandung and to advance the fashion sector.
Accoultourishion will exhibit the works of young designers, Muslim fashion brands, and scholars alike:
Scholars: Islamic Fashion Institute, Maranatha Christian University, STTT Polytechnic, ISBI Bandung and Telkom University
Brands: MAIMA, NUETA, DEANS Collection, Kaos Gurita, KICIKS MUSLIMAH and NADJANI
Young Designers: Dede Ananta, Anggraeny Septia, Bella Rizkiantara, Yumna Shiba, Jahwa Fani Gunawan, and Hasna Mujahidah.
