Interior Design Internship Program (DI-334)

Course description: This course prepares students to work in the professional world by developing their mental, character, and social skills and to apply what students learned in college to real-world work. This course provides students with the opportunity to handle real-world projects, work in design teams, work at a fast pace, overcome real-world obstacles, and broaden their design insights.

Our study program requires students to choose a company that can accept students to work full time in the company’s office (100% work from office), not just face-to-face during assistance or during direction from senior designers. We believe by doing so students will get full benefits from the practical work process.

This course can be taken under two schemes which each student must choose, namely:

  • Basic internship (300 working hours and acknowledged as 3 credits)
  • Freedom of Learning Independent Campus internship program (800 working hours and acknowledged/converted as 20 credits of 7 courses, which are: DI-318 Interior Design Studio 4/ 4 credits, DI-322 Furniture 2/ 3 credits, DI-417 Project Management 1/ 2 credits, DI-419 Project Management 2/ 2 credits, DI-334 Interior Design Internship/ 3 credits, DI-413 Trend & Lifestyle/ 3 credits, DI-227 Teamwork Elective/ 2 credits, DI-32x Minor 2 / 4 credits)

The flowcharts below show both internship process:
