About Us
The Faculty of Art & Design (FSRD) was established in 2005 and has grown to become one of the faculties with the largest student population at Maranatha Christian University. FSRD believes that art, culture, and design are some of the important sectors in the development of the creative economy industry.
To answer the challenges of the era of globalism and the information age which is growing very rapidly, the Faculty of Arts and Design has 4 excellent study programs that are in line with the 14 creative industry sectors developed by the government. FSRD consistently develops materials and curricula to produce graduates who are ready and able to answer future challenges, as well as developing networks and collaborative programs with educational institutions and industries in the creative field both at national and international levels, in accordance with the mission of organizing the Tridharma of Higher Education to produce creative and innovative graduates with competence in the fields of art and design in the global era who are based on the nation’s cultural wealth, are entrepreneurial, and adhere to the values of Christian life.
