“Interior FM? Interior Design students made a radio broadcast?” That’s right… part of it. Students from the UK Maranatha Interior Design Study Program who are members of the RERUM student association did make broadcasts, but on YouTube, not radio. March 26, 2022 wasthe premiere broadcast date of the program.

Luckily, Interior FM was live on YouTube so we can see the excitement on the faces of the hosts, making us feel like we’re having a live chat. The two presenters were Catellia and Ros, students from Interior Design 2019 and 2020. The speaker also came from the same department: Brillian from class 2015. Brillian calls himself a visual storyteller or “visual storyteller” who has the expertise to enrich narratives with the help of images. .

Brillian is the perfect person for the theme “Interior Business: Level Up Your Relations” because his social talent shines through. He claims that he has tasted about 80% of all committee activities in Interior Design. More impressively, Brillian did not join these activities for the sake of pursuing portfolio sheets or certificates–he was aware that these activities could be a means to develop his talents. He chose his role in the organization according to what skills he needed to train, such as leadership and management.

From the heap of experience, Brillian can share some tips to improve our relationship in the business world. First, of course, we need to build relationships as widely as possible, even if we don’t really like the people we know. Got in a group with an uncool friend in college? Don’t give him bad treatment, the important thing is that the group work goes smoothly. Happened to see someone whose LinkedIn profile was interesting? Feel free to say hello and get acquainted with sincere intentions. In addition, all our work must be done properly in order to maintain our reputation. A good reputation will bring good relations too.

If you didn’t have time to watch yesterday’s premiere, don’t worry–we can watch the recording of Interior FM #1 via this link. Interior FM will be back with more episodes, so stay tuned!
